Choose a period and a private location
Give the worksheet a clear date range. Use a tool you understand and protect access to it. Keep passwords, full card details and account recovery information out of the worksheet, especially if you plan to share a copy.
Distinguish records from estimates
Create separate columns for the item, date, amount and whether it is confirmed or estimated. Label transfers so you can review them without automatically counting the same money twice. Use your own records; example figures are not recommendations for how much you should spend.
List decisions separately
Keep questions and possible changes on a second page instead of changing the records to fit a target. Check uncertain entries against the original source. This worksheet organizes information; it is not individualized financial, debt or tax advice.
