If you have knowledge to share and can communicate it clearly, our author application is your starting point. Tell us what you would like to cover, what experience you bring, and where we can see examples of your work.
What you can do as an author
Approved authors receive access to the publishing tools assigned to their accounts. Depending on the formats and permissions enabled, these can include articles, image galleries, lists, video or audio posts, quizzes, polls, recipes, events, and posts featuring an imported Arcade game.
You can prepare content, add supporting media, organise it using available categories and tags, and maintain your author profile. Draft, submission, scheduling, and publishing options depend on your account permissions and the site's editorial settings.
An author account provides publishing access. It does not automatically grant permission to manage other authors, approve every submission, or publish without review.
How to apply
- Create an account or sign in. Applications are linked to your account.
- Introduce yourself. Provide your first and last name and explain your expertise, interests, and intended contribution.
- Share examples where available. A portfolio or previous-work link helps us understand your writing. The current application form makes this link optional.
- Read and accept the applicable terms. Make sure you understand the content and participation requirements.
- Submit your application. Return to the application page to check its status and any feedback.
The review window is stated above. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or publication.
Application outcomes
A pending application is awaiting review. You cannot repeatedly replace it while it is under review.
If approved, you can access the tools granted to your account. If a reviewer invites changes and resubmission, update your application using the available form and address the feedback. Other rejection outcomes may not permit resubmission; contact author support if you need clarification.
The current application process keeps author and affiliate participation separate. A pending or approved affiliate application, or an incompatible account role, can prevent an author application. Contact support before trying to change programmes rather than opening duplicate accounts.
Preparing content for publication
Aim to make each submission useful, clear, and appropriate for the selected topic. Explain claims, credit reliable sources, and check names, dates, links, and facts before submission.
Use only writing, images, audio, video, and other material you own or have permission to use. Credit alone does not replace permission where permission is required. Identify relevant sponsorships, commercial relationships, and conflicts of interest.
Do not submit copied articles, misleading claims, undisclosed promotions, private information without authority, or material that infringes another person's rights. If AI-assisted tools are available, you remain responsible for checking the output, sources, originality, and any disclosures required by the publishing rules.
For Arcade posts, choose from the imported games available through the editor. Publishing a post about a game does not transfer the game's rights or remove its provider's access requirements.
Editorial review and updates
Content may be reviewed before publication or returned for corrections. Available publication controls depend on your permissions; saving a draft or selecting a date does not override approval requirements.
Published work may need updates as facts change. Contact support about significant errors, rights issues, or changes you cannot make through your account. Publication and continued availability remain subject to the editorial rules and Terms and Conditions.
How author earnings work
Author rewards are separate from author approval. Earnings are available only when the reward programme is active and your account is enabled to participate.
The current reward mechanism uses a configured amount per 1,000 qualifying post views. Where that mechanism applies, a qualifying view earns one-thousandth of the stated rate. Your current rate and currency must be confirmed in the programme details above.
Not every page load qualifies. Duplicate visits and recognised automated traffic can be excluded, and programme rules may impose additional eligibility conditions. Refreshing pages, using traffic bots, or arranging artificial views is not an acceptable way to earn rewards.
View-based rewards are not automatically a share of membership fees, advertising income, individual post sales, or affiliate commissions. Any additional payment arrangement must be expressly stated.
Tracking earnings and requesting payment
Where reward access is enabled, the author earnings area provides the relevant balance, payout settings, and payout history.
Before requesting payment, save valid details for an enabled payout method. Your request must meet that method's minimum, remain within your available balance, and satisfy any stated verification conditions. An existing pending payout request can prevent another request.
Payout methods supported by the platform include PayPal, Bitcoin, and bank-transfer details, but only the methods enabled for your programme are available. The actual methods, minimums, fees, and processing schedule are defined above. A submitted request is not confirmation that funds have been transferred.
There is no guaranteed income or audience size. Valid earnings depend on qualifying activity and the published rules. If you believe a record or adjustment is incorrect, contact support with the relevant dates and details.
Your work and your profile
You retain ownership of your submissions subject to the Terms and any separate publishing agreement. Those terms explain the permissions needed to host and display your work.
Your public profile and published contributions help readers recognise your work. Keep public details accurate and avoid including information you do not want to share publicly.
