Connect the right audience with relevant offers
The ASS – Affiliate Syndicates affiliate programme gives approved participants access to available offers, referral links, promotional resources, and reporting tools.
The aim is straightforward: choose offers that suit your audience, promote them honestly through permitted channels, and earn when referred activity meets the applicable conditions.
Joining the programme does not guarantee access to every offer or a particular level of income.
Who can apply?
The application is designed for people who can explain how they reach an audience and how they intend to promote offers. Your channels might include a website, content platform, social audience, or permission-based email activity, subject to the restrictions of each offer.
Provide an accurate description of your traffic sources and promotion methods. Do not assume that a channel is permitted merely because you can list it in your application.
The current process keeps author and affiliate participation separate. A pending or approved author application, or an incompatible account role, can prevent an affiliate application. Contact support if you wish to change programmes instead of creating duplicate accounts.
How to apply
- Create an account or sign in. Your application and programme access are attached to that account.
- Describe your activity. Complete the form with the requested website, traffic-source, promotion-method, country, and background information.
- Explain your approach. Tell us what you promote, who your audience is, and how you intend to use the programme.
- Review the participation terms. Confirm that you can follow the programme and offer restrictions.
- Submit and check your status. Return to the application page for the decision and available feedback.
A pending application cannot be repeatedly replaced while under review. If the decision invites revision, you can correct and resubmit it through the available form. Other rejection outcomes may not permit resubmission.
Offer access after approval
Programme approval is the first step. Offers can have different access conditions:
| Access type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Available to approved affiliates | Eligible approved participants can access the offer without an additional offer-specific approval step. |
| Separate approval required | You must request and receive approval for that particular offer before promoting it. |
| Private | Access is limited to participants specifically granted permission. |
Read the current offer conditions before beginning a campaign. Offers, permissions, and destinations may change or be paused, so check availability before investing in promotion.
Links and promotional resources
Use the referral link provided for your account and offer. Preserve its tracking information; replacing it with a direct merchant URL or removing identifiers can prevent attribution.
Where supplied, promotional resources can include banners and email copy. These materials are starting points for permitted promotion, not permission to make unsupported claims or send unsolicited messages.
Check that materials are current, suitable for your audience, and permitted on the channel you plan to use. Ask support before changing material terms or claims about an offer.
From a click to a commission
A referral normally passes through several stages:
- Someone follows your link and the platform records the referral activity.
- The visitor completes an action required by the offer, if any.
- The merchant or network reports the outcome.
- The outcome is checked against the attribution and commission rules.
- Eligible earnings are credited according to the applicable policy.
A click is not a conversion, and a reported conversion is not automatically withdrawable earnings. Reporting can be delayed, incomplete, or subject to review.
Commission arrangements may use a fixed amount, a percentage of a reported network payout, a percentage of a sale amount, or manual review. The model and conditions for your offer determine what you may earn. A headline merchant payout is not necessarily the amount credited to you.
Do not assume one attribution window or commission rate applies to every offer. Use the current conditions identified above.
Understanding reporting and balances
Use the available reporting areas to review your referral activity, conversion records, earnings, and payouts. Compare records for the same date range and currency when investigating differences.
Conversion states can include pending, approved, rejected, reversed, or awaiting currency review. A record may need review before it affects the payable balance. Approval of an event and posting of an earning are related but separate steps.
Refunds, cancellations, duplicates, invalid traffic, or merchant corrections can lead to a rejection, reversal, or adjustment under the programme rules. Adjustments may affect an existing balance; a reversal can produce a negative balance under the applicable rules and circumstances. Check those rules before promoting an offer.
No system can guarantee that every visit or sale is attributed. Technical interruptions, altered links, browser restrictions, and advertiser reporting can affect tracking. Raise suspected missing or incorrect records with support using the offer, dates, and relevant reference details. Avoid sending unnecessary customer personal information.
Requesting a payout
Enter accurate payment details for an enabled method and confirm that you meet its minimum and the programme's eligibility requirements. Requests must stay within the available balance and may be blocked while another payout request is pending.
The platform supports methods such as PayPal, Bitcoin, and bank-transfer details, but availability depends on the programme settings. Use the payout conditions above for the actual methods, currency, fees, and processing schedule.
A request enters the payout process; it does not mean funds have already been sent. Review its recorded status and contact support if it remains unresolved beyond the published processing window.
Author rewards and affiliate earnings follow different earning rules and payout settings. Do not assume access to one programme includes the other or that their balances and conditions are interchangeable.
Promote responsibly
Explain an offer accurately and make your commercial relationship clear where the audience encounters the promotion. For example: “I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.” Use wording and placement suitable for your audience and applicable rules.
Follow each offer's limits on locations, traffic sources, brand bidding, incentives, email, and self-referrals. Do not use spam, fabricated leads, bots, cookie stuffing, misleading redirects, impersonation, or unauthorised claims.
Handle any audience information lawfully and obtain required marketing or tracking permissions. Keep your account and links secure, and report a broken or suspicious destination promptly.
Common questions
Does programme approval unlock every offer? No. Some offers require additional approval or private access.
Do I earn for every click? Only if an offer expressly rewards qualifying clicks. Many offers require a purchase, lead, or another validated action.
Can earnings change after they appear? Yes. Validation, reversals, corrections, and the applicable credit policy can change a record or balance.
Can I use any promotional channel? No. Your application and the offer conditions determine which methods are permitted.
Are earnings guaranteed? No. Results depend on your audience, permitted promotion, qualifying activity, attribution, and validation.
